April began her career as an entrepreneur in 1995 when she founded The Messenger's Directory (TMD). A Christian resource directory that was published annually in Chicagoland, TMD offered business owners a vehicle in which they could market their services and products and provided a network of support within the Christian business community. April went on to establish the Christian Publicity Network that provided affordable PR services to clients and went on to lead the PR efforts of a large chiropractic group for over 5 years. April has 20+ years of marketing and PR experience helping small businesses build brand awareness, gain visibility, and garner top-tier media attention.
A humanitarian at heart, April recently joined a chiropractic mission trip to the Dominican Republic where she assisted a team of doctors who brought chiropractic care to 50,000 villagers and funds for an orphanage for abandoned children. April also provides pro bono PR support to Chicago-based youth charity Gear for Goals.
April resides in Southwest Suburbs of Chicago with her husband, Ron, and is the mother of four children, Michael, age 28, Steven, age 26, Trevor, age 20, and Kelly, age 19. In her spare time, April enjoys traveling, swimming, reading, cooking, and spending time with family.
