Resumé / Bio

Victor Dj Super V Valente was born in the south end of New Bedford, Massachusetts and devoloped a love for music and arts as a child. Victor was 11 years old when he was first inspired to become more musically involved after listening to Cat Stevens 1977 release called Was a dog a donut. Moving to New York City as a youngster, Victor Valente joined Afrika Bambaataa's Universal Zulu Nation exposing him to a network of artists and producers in the music business. His style of djing would catch the ears of his dj partner (the late Richard Lee Sisco famouse for his icon performance in the movie Beat Street ) who convinced Victor to try the saxophone, an instrument he still loves to play today.
From his turntable skills to his knowledge of music, Dj Super V. has made landmark appearances in the early 90's hip hop Jazz Scene. His love for the art of music, as he calls it, continues to drive Victor through his journey of solo projects, collaborations, mixtapes and live shows. During the course of a 30 year career, Victor's work never seems to be finished, as he continues to find his way with his music around the world.
