Pressure Die Casting
What is Pressure Die Casting?
Custom pressure die casting is the process of injecting molten metal into a mold cavity under high-pressure circumstances. The process is similar to injection molding and is a guaranteed method of making average to substantial volumes of metal parts.

Xin Pin supplies a great variety of high-grade die casting services for small batch production and a big volume of metal parts with excellent surface and tight tolerance parts. We can use our die casting services to reduce the cost per unit part to accommodate budgetary limitations which is the cost-effective solution to high volumes of metal parts production.

What are the advantages of pressure die casting china?
Suitable for mass production, with high levels of accuracy

Cost-effective solution for the mass production of castings

Molten metal solidifies in a matter of seconds, or even milliseconds, for faster production

Ideal for a wide range of applications

Great for highly complex and precise components

Suited to long production runs or where large volumes are needed

Close dimensional control and very smooth surface finish

Castings with thin walls, and so lighter in weight

Most pressure diecasting's can be discreetly electroplated without any further processing

Different Types of Pressure Die Casting

1. Rapid Tooling

The most choice for the low volume production, using the aluminum inserts with a lifetime of up to 20,000 runs, typically 1-2 weeks, can reduce lead time.

2. High-Pressure Die Casting

In which a hydraulic ram is used to inject the molten metal into the die at extremely high pressures.

3. Low-Pressure Die Casting

The metal is forced into the mold with air pressure machined in typically 3-4 weeks with a lifetime up to 100,000.

4. Gravity Permanent Mold Casting

This process is combined with a gravity-fed metal delivery system.

The Process of Pressure Die Casting

Our pressure dies casting process consists of 6 steps. It can be summarized as follows:

1. Fixation

Here, the dies are cleaned and lubricated. The die halves are then closed and clamped under high pressure.

2. Infusion

The molten metal is injected and forced into the clamped die under extremely high pressure. The molten metal is kept in the die until it solidifies.

3. Cooling

This process is essential to allow the solidification of the metal. The cooled metal fully forms the part.

4. Ejection

Once the metal has cooled, the ejection process begins. The solidified part is pushed out of the die.

FAQs of Pressure Die Casting
1 What is the minimum pressure for die casting?

100+ will be available. It is flexible, but we always break down the cost as the MOQs which is an economical solution for volume production.

2 What is the difference between high pressure die casting and low pressure die casting?

3 Which materials do you offer in Die Casting?

4 Which types of customers to you supplying?

5 Can I export my tooling?

There are many pressure die casting company and machining services manufacturers,, but we are one of the best choices for you.
