DHA Family Farms aka Four Country Gals is a registered Utah company. The four gals that own this company have each retired from long careers either in business ownership or law enforcement. One served in the USMC as a 1st Lt., during the Viet Nam war.
They are now launching their first value added product, made from goat milk, which they obtain from their own herd of Nubian, Alpine, and crosses thereof. They cook this milk with various ingredients until it becomes ooey-gooey, fragrant, and udderly addictive. That product is called Traditional Mexican Cajeta.
They sell their products direct to the public at local Farmer's Markets in Southern Utah, online using the Open Sky platform, and also to a number of other retail outlets in Northern Utah. Those sales are expected to begin in May 2014.
Traditional Mexican Cajeta can replace regular caramel sauce entirely. You'll find the texture smoother, the mouthfeel silkier, the flavors more caramelly, and the finish incredibly complex.
