Why Marquette?
When I was searching for a place of employment Marquette's mission statement caught my eye. The discovery and sharing of knowledge and the fostering of personal and professional excellence were important to me. But the development of leadership expressed in service to others spoke to my heart. I wanted to make sure that any position I held allowed me to better the life of others. My position with Marquette has filled that need. As a member of the international backpack journalism team, I have been able to make a difference in the life of others.

Interests
On a professional level I am interested in technology's role in the curriculum; the use of social media as an avenue for individuals on the autistic spectrum; and narrowing the digital divide through service projects.
