Resumé / Bio

Former firefighter/paramedic in Southern California for over 25 years. Shortly after 9/11, the 9/11 Patch Project was created to create unity among all firefighters. The project began when 5 FDNY bike riders rode across America to thank Americans for their love and support following the events of 9/11. The Thank You America Tour, ended their ride 1 mile from the station that founder Brett Hill was stationed at for over 18 years. A design of the 9/11 Tribute Patch was unveiled before the 5 FDNY riders and the project to get the patch on the uniformed shoulders of all firefighters began. In the first year, nearly 2500 organizations were participating in 12 countries.

At the 5 year anniversary mark, a 2nd patch (Three Heroes Patch) was released to pay tribute to firefighters, EMT's, police officers and military personnel. To date, over 5000 organizations in 22 countries are participating.

10's of thousands of dollars have been raised and donated to funds like; FDNY U.F.A., FDNY U.F.O.A., Terry Farrell Firefighters Fund and World-Memorial.

With the 10 Year 9/11 Anniversary upon us, two new 10 Year Patches have been released and will be sold to thousands of fire, police and military organizations throughout 2011.

The 10 Year Anniversary Plans are supported by the FDNY Uniformed Fire Officers, Terry Farrell Fund and World-Memorial. Special decals will also be sold. As always, all the net proceeds will be donated to the organizations listed above.
