In 2013, I resigned as Business Development Executive at TIG Freight Management to pursue my dream of operating my own not for profit organization. I'm now the Director of weDonate Limited, an online social network for people who want to donate more. I've taken a leap of faith! The same leap of faith that many have taken to failure, and yet many more have failed to take at all. But the decision has not come lightly, and nor has it come hastily.
In 2007, I graduated from Melbourne High School and I didn't waste any time progressing my education. I enrolled in a degree that would help open my mind to a world dominated by people in business.
In 2011, I completed a Bachelor of Arts (Film & Video, Media & Communications) / Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) at Deakin University. I left with an invaluable foundation of knowledge that I've used to propel my career.
In 2012, I began my first full time job as a Telephone Sales Representative at Sun Connect. I worked within an elite sales environment for 18 months, exposing myself to high-end outbound direct telephone sales. It has been by far the most challenging but most valuable experience of my career to date. I've always known where my career was headed, but I'll admit at times, the journey has been very uncertain and it still is, even now! But that's what makes it so exciting, I have no doubt the journey has only just begun!
